Cornrows and a Ponytail

This style is pretty self explanatory, I think, but just for fun, here's how to get the look:

(This is the style that Q was sporting in the video where she picked the winner of the Poppy's Boutique Giveaway! Be sure to visit that post and EMAIL ME if you won!)

Part the hair down the center of the head, then make two more parts between the center and the ear, on each side.
Then either french braid or cornrow from the front of the head to the back!
This should give you 6 braids.

Here they are!
I only braided down to where I wanted to add a ponytail :)

End result! ...

We finished Q's hairdo off with a ponytail.

I was hoping her hair would be long enough to add some beads at the ends, but it was too short.
Next time (since beads are kinda out of the question for this style right now) I think I will take out the braided ends, so that the whole ponytail is curly.

Have a great Sunday!

  2. Thanks! I'm sure you could - it just might take some practice :) I've heard some people say they find it easier to braid their own hair than someone else's - I guess it's just what you do the most becomes the easiest! (I do Q's hair waaaaay more than my own!)
